As most seasoned motorcyclists know, there are a number of things to watch out for on the road. In addition to poor driving conditions and roads that need to be repaired, sometimes other drivers don’t drive responsibly. Whether they are talking on the phone, intoxicated or simply not paying attention, it is not uncommon to hear of a motorcycle accident in Milwaukee. Because every one of these incidents should have been prevented, people should be aware of the threats that exist.
Although law enforcement officials have stated that speed and alcohol were not a factor in one recent accident, a young man is dead after he collided with a vehicle. The crash, which is currently being investigated, occurred in Menomonie.
The motorcyclist did not have a helmet on when while he was on the road. He was just 22 years old and passed away where the crash took place, on North Broadway Street. In addition to the fact that speeding and drinking were not involved, according to authorities, the crash happened on Sunday in the afternoon hours.
Those who are involved in a motorcycle accident often have very difficult issues to deal with. In addition to physical problems, such as head injuries and broken bones, some people have a hard time coping with the financial burdens that come with an accident. While survivors have hospital bills and other costs, a fatal motorcycle accident can lead to unbearable emotional pain and funeral expenses. Anyone who is experiencing these difficulties could find it helpful to talk with a Milwaukee personal injury attorney.
