Driver Flees Scene of Deadly RV Accident

There are a number of reasons why recreational vehicles can be particularly dangerous. In addition to their size, which can increase the likelihood of serious injuries and deaths when they are involved in collisions, they can also be difficult to manage. In Milwaukee and the rest of Wisconsin, roads can be icy, which is one more risk drivers should consider to prevent another recreational vehicle accident.
After causing a deadly accident that involved multiple vehicles, the driver of an RV drove away and has not been apprehended. The crash, which took place in Marietta, Georgia, has authorities searching for the RV that was responsible. They believe the front right quarter panel of the recreational vehicle is damaged, which could help people locate and report the RV.
While heading down the center of southbound lanes on I-75, the RV hit the back of a vehicle. After being struck, that car moved erratically across the freeway and hit three other vehicles, one of which rolled over after hitting a wall. A passenger who was riding in the car that ran into the wall lost his life. There were two other people in that vehicle, a 4-year-old who did not have any injuries and the driver, who was hospitalized for her injuries.
Victims of RV accidents sometimes have a lot to deal with. Even if they are lucky enough to survive the crash, they could have a hard time paying hospital bills and living with their injuries. Sadly, when people lose their lives, their families could have emotional and financial complications (such as hospital expenses) that stem from the accident. Anyone who has been involved in an RV accident in Milwaukee could find it helpful to talk with a Milwaukee personal injury attorney.
